Rogers Pass...

Another update to this blog, I'm not very interested in writing and when the bloghost makes it a big hazzle for me to post pictures It aint much that keeps me updating. But atleast we have been doing some fun stuff here since my last update. Myself, Emil, Mike, Per and our friends Fredrik and Joakim went to Rogers Pass to catch some deep snow and snow we got. In less than 2 weeks Rogers pass got 2 meters of snow and the place is really beautiful. Fredrik and Joakim is leading the way and enjoying the scenery. Joakim is dropping in for the first run. Im enjoying the deepest, steepest glades I've ever skied The skis I had today was Pers Line EP pro soft, wide, centermounted and bananashaped. A whole load of fun on the way down but an assload to haul up the mountain, my skins werent wide enough so in the steeper sections I was gliding backwards, the turns were a big hazzle since te skis were centermounted and the rockered shape of the skis gives me about a meter of contact with the snow. Per hauling ass... ...in the deep stuff

We were out trying to build a jump, with emphasis on trying, it was hard to get everyones wishes through. When the sun went down below the mountains we all wanted to go home. I thought it was a shame to build a jump for four hours and nobody even trying it. So I decided to give it a shot, one try with an inrun that looks like shit since we didnt pack it an the snow froze after the sun went down leaving a layer of ice. The jump itself werent too bad but the lack of shaping made it a little sketchy. But I tried and the experiment went fairly well, I didnt hurt myself too bad, not at all infact.

So far so good, my first attempt at a Lincoln loop... ...but the bad snow in the landing got the best of me Some pictures from earlier when I acctually landed a frontflip
